Trust
The consent layer for AI-generated talent.
Every Mirai model is a real, consenting person. Every image is approved before it's licensed. Every licence has a clean, documented rights chain. The compliant choice is the default choice.
How we're built
Four pillars, non-negotiable.
Consent-first
Every model on Mirai signed a written agreement before their digital twin existed. No scraped likenesses. No synthetic faces pretending to be real people. No use of any model's identity without their continuing consent.
Model-approved
Every image a brand generates lands in the model's approval queue before it can be licensed. The model reviews, approves or rejects, and can give the brand specific change notes. Nothing leaves the platform unwatermarked without the model saying yes.
Commercial rights, cleanly transferred
When a brand licenses an approved image, Mirai issues a clear commercial use right scoped to the format, duration, territory, and exclusivity they purchased. The brand owns the use; the model retains their underlying likeness rights. No ambiguity for either side.
Compliance by default
Mirai is GDPR-aligned, CCPA-aligned, and structured to satisfy EU AI Act Article 50 disclosure requirements, the Tennessee ELVIS Act, New York's likeness statute, California AB 2602, and the SAG-AFTRA AI provisions. The compliant choice is the default choice.
For models
What you keep.
- Sign in writing before your digital twin is created — never scraped, never assumed.
- Approve or reject every single image a brand generates of your likeness.
- See, in plain terms, who licensed what, for what use, for how long.
- Receive payouts directly via Stripe Connect — Mirai doesn't hold your earnings.
- Set regional restrictions if you're signed to an agency in a specific market.
- Revoke your consent and stop new generations on 72 hours' notice — licences already paid remain valid for the term purchased.
For brands
What you get.
- A clear commercial licence on every approved image you purchase — usage, duration, territory, exclusivity all spelled out at checkout.
- Full ownership of the licensed image within the scope of your licence — no Mirai watermark, no further approvals needed for the agreed uses.
- Indemnification: the rights chain on every Mirai image is documented and clean. If a model's representation is ever challenged, Mirai's licence is the defence.
- Your brand kit, uploaded references, and generated outputs are stored privately. Mirai does not use brand uploads to train generic AI models.
- Snapshot of your brand identity (company name, social handles, website) attached to every licence so models always see who they're approving for.
Questions
Plain answers.
Are Mirai models real people?
Yes. Every name on the roster is a real, working person who has consented in writing to having their likeness available through Mirai. Their face is anchored to a reference kit they approved. No synthetic 'AI model' is presented as a real talent.
Who owns the images I license?
You do, within the scope of your licence. The licence specifies the format (digital / print + OOH), the duration, the territory, and whether it's exclusive within your category. Outside the scope, the underlying likeness rights remain with the model.
Can a model retroactively withdraw consent?
A model can request that their twin be retired at any time, on 72 hours' written notice. After that window, no new licences can be issued and the twin stops appearing on the roster. Licences already paid remain valid for the duration purchased — brands aren't exposed mid-campaign. The legal mechanic is in our Terms (section 8) and the Model Release.
Do you train AI on my brand uploads?
No. Brand uploads (products, references, brand kits, generated outputs) are scoped to your account and never used to train Mirai's or any third party's generic AI model. Generated images are never sold to a stock library, never indexed for outside training, never used outside the licence they were issued under.
Can I use a Mirai image as input to ChatGPT or Midjourney?
No. Re-using a Mirai-generated image as a reference, seed, or training input for any third-party AI service is a breach of the licence and a breach of the model's consent. The same image you licensed cleanly here becomes an uncleared likeness the moment it's fed to another AI. Don't do it.
What if I'm a brand based in a region a model is restricted from?
Some models are signed to regional agencies and aren't available for use in specific countries. We check your brand's country at licence purchase and block the transaction if there's a conflict — better to know before you build a campaign around the wrong model.
How do you handle GDPR / CCPA / EU AI Act?
Models are the data subjects of their own likeness; their consent is the lawful basis for processing. Brands and models can request their data at any time; deletion respects active licence obligations. Generated AI imagery is disclosed-by-default on Mirai surfaces and the licence makes the AI-generated nature transparent to any downstream viewer.
