Model Rights Principles

Model Rights Principles

Ten commitments to every model on the Mirai platform. These principles describe Mirai's operating commitments. Binding rights and obligations are contained in the applicable Model Release, Terms of Service, approval record, licence certificate and any custom agreement. Where a mechanism is still being built, it is marked as in progress below — we do not present roadmap as shipped.

01

Identity ownership

You own your likeness. Mirai licenses it on your terms — never the reverse. Your AI likeness is your asset, recorded in your name. We are a registry, not an owner.

02

Active consent

Every campaign that uses your likeness is reviewed and approved by you before it ships. No bulk pre-authorisation. No silent scope creep. If a brand wants to expand the use, they ask again.

03

Transparent compensation

You see every license sold against your AI likeness in real time — format, duration, exclusivity, and fee. The math is transparent, not negotiated. You keep the majority of every fee, paid directly, enforced inside the payment itself via Stripe Connect — not settled after the fact.

04

Right to deletion

Walk away anytime. We delete your AI likeness, your recordings, and your underlying photos within 30 days of your written request to legal@miraitalent.ai — processed by our team today, with self-serve deletion in progress. Earnings already accrued remain yours. There is no exit fee and no tail clause.

05

Use restrictions, opt-out by default

Political messaging, religious content, weapons, tobacco, alcohol, gambling, adult content, medical claims, and disinformation are blocked by default under our Acceptable-Use Policy, and every generation is safety-screened. The specific categories you exclude at signing are binding once confirmed and screened before every generation, and nothing can be licensed without your per-image approval — so no category ships over your objection.

06

Data sovereignty

Your biometric likeness is processed under GDPR Article 9 special-category bases, the New York Fashion Workers Act, and the California right of publicity. We publish our processors; a standard Data Processing Addendum is in progress. Your data is never sold and never used to train models for third parties.

07

Earnings floor

Your per-image royalty cannot be set to zero. It cannot be discounted below platform minimums by a brand or by Mirai. Volume discounts negotiated with brands come out of Mirai's share, never yours.

08

Dispute resolution

If a brand uses your likeness in a way you object to, write to legal@miraitalent.ai and we suspend the disputed use within 72 hours pending review — handled by our team today, with one-click in-dashboard flagging in progress. If the use is in breach, the campaign is taken down and we pursue the brand under the license terms on your behalf.

09

Career portability

Mirai exclusivity is opt-in, never default. Standard models can license their likeness on any other platform. Exclusive models earn a higher rate by choice and can convert back to non-exclusive with 90 days' notice. You retain your earnings history regardless.

10

Anti-discrimination

Brands cannot filter the roster by protected characteristics in ways that exclude you from being shown. Mirai will publish annual breakdowns of bookings by demographic — beginning with our first full year of operation — to ensure no algorithmic exclusion. You are entitled to your booking statistics and the audit trail behind them.

For brands

What this means when you license through Mirai

These principles express Mirai's commitments to the models on the roster. The binding documents are the Model Release, the Terms of Service, and each individual licence record; where a principle here reaches further than those documents, the operative agreements control. By licensing through Mirai you acknowledge that the model retains the rights described above and that your usage may not exceed the scope licensed.

This is what makes Mirai imagery legally clean: the consent chain is written, signed, version-stamped, and audit-logged — and every image stays watermarked until it is licensed. Your legal team can review the framework before you sign your first license.
